We're looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our Auckland team.

This is a varied role that offers plenty of diversity. Depending on operational requirements, you could be involved in pre-cast transport, general freight, local deliveries, linehaul work, and if you can operate a swinglift, that's an even bigger advantage.

What you'll be doing

No two days are quite the same. Your work may include:

Transporting products safely and efficiently.

General freight deliveries across the Auckland region.

Local metro work and linehaul assignments.

Loading, securing and transporting a wide variety of freight.

Representing Mackleys professionally with customers every day.

Completing pre-start checks and ensuring your vehicle is presented to a high standard.

Working safely and following company and customer procedures at all times, as well as all vehicles regulations and transport legislation.

What we're looking for

A current New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence.

A minimum of 3 years relevant Class 5 heavy transport driving experience is required.

Swinglift experience would be a real advantage.

Forklift licence and OSH endorsement (advantageous but not essential).

Confidence using technology and learning new systems.

A strong commitment to health and safety.

Great customer service and communication skills.

Pride in maintaining your truck and equipment.

Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, up to a maximum of 70 hours.
