Driver Check-In

JOB DESCRIPTION

Salary Range: $50,200 - $60,300

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Role:

Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, this position is responsible for receiving delivery associates back into the warehouse, processing paperwork and customer returns.

Role Responsibilities:

• •Ensure customer credits are coded correctly.
• •Verify and ensure all returned product is scanned and returned to stock daily.
• •Communicate with various departments (Transportation, Warehouse, Credit, Inventory/QA) to ensure proper procedures and policies are being adhered to.
• •Ensure all route bags are sorted daily and all the driver’s paperwork is verified for accuracy and completeness.
• •Inspect all items upon return to insure the items are compliant following our corporate driven food safety guidelines and credit returns policies.
• •Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
• •Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
• •Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):

• •1-year experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• •High school diploma required
• •College Diploma an asset
• •Material handling equipment experience is an asset
• •Basic proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
