Position Overview:

Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently looking for a dedicated Class 5 Driver in our Calgary - The Cat Rental Store (TCRS) Facility. If you are a safety conscious team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess a valid class 5 driver’s license, then you are exactly who we are looking for!

Job Description:

• •Provide customer service in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, while maintaining a polished personal appearance
• •Pick up and deliver equipment and smaller rental items
• •Load and unload company trucks and trailers safely
• •Operate company vehicles, trailers, and related rental equipment as required

Qualifications:

• •Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• •Must be capable of repeated lifting and pushing required to load and unload smaller rental items
• •Must have a proven track record of successfully operating a large truck with a trailer
• •Must be competent with basic computer programs, including email and Microsoft Word
• •Must have the ability to learn the company software program and driving log application
• •Knowledge of load securement and experience operating various types of equipment would be an asset

Important Information:

• •This position is based in Calgary, AB on a 5x2 Shift . (Monday to Friday)
• •Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
