About The Role

Valinor Condor is building the next generation of autonomous VTOL aircraft for defense and enterprise applications. We're a small, technical team moving fast — our vehicle is flying, our customers are real, and the work spans simulation to real life.

Condor is seeking a Drone Assembly Technician to join our team. This role is critical to scaling our manufacturing capability and supporting rapid growth. This position will start as a 3-month contract role , with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

What You'll Do

Perform precision mechanical assembly of small UAS platforms and subassemblies

Conduct electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring

Support component/assembly testing

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or integration issues with engineering support

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop in accordance with ESD and safety protocols

Support continuous improvement in assembly processes and documentation

What We're Looking For

Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly

Proficiency in soldering and wiring for small electronics

Familiarity with 3D printing, drones, UAS, robotics, or RC systems strongly preferred

Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset

Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
