Drumpack Operator

Job Description:

Packaging drum pack tubular wire for customer use according to Route Card / process sheet and production schedule requirements.

• •Operate safely and identify / correct unsafe situations.
• •Follow process specifications for machine setup, production, and packaging.
• •Run multiple machines.
• •Perform specified quality checks.
• •Complete machine setup, change over, cast / sinewave adjustments, and troubleshooting in a timely manner.
• •Place nonconforming products on hold.
• •Perform rework.
• •Perform restock and housekeeping.
• •Willing to train on and operate other machines / processes as necessary.
• •Read and update schedule.

Qualifications

• •Training on applicable Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery is required.
• •Able to lift approx. 65 pounds on a continual basis.
• •Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
• •Able to meet / exceed specified production rates.
• •Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.
• •Possess an excellent quality record.
• •Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.
• •Forklift experience may be required.
