Position overview:-

Tru Inc is hiring a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Lead. We have one permanent position available.

You will be the technical authority for large-scale Dynamics 365 retail programs covering Finance, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management and Commerce. You will design the solution, lead the development team, own code quality and platform health, and be the person client leadership trusts on every technical decision. Our programs run at high volume: hundreds of stores, daily transaction feeds from every store, and back-office operations that cannot stop.

This role sits in our Delivery organization. You will work directly with client IT leadership, Microsoft, Tru functional consultants and a team of D365 developers.

Location:-

This role is remote, with the candidate working from their current location. However, candidates should be based in or around Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as occasional travel to the client site in Riyadh may be required for client meetings and other business needs.

Key responsibilities:-

Solution and architecture:-

• •Own the technical architecture across Finance, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management and Commerce, including extensions, integrations, data flows and environment strategy.
• •Author technical design documents and review functional designs, challenging any design that will not perform, scale or be supportable.
• •Estimate technical effort for new scope, change requests and phases, and defend those estimates with client and internal leadership.

Integration and data:-

• •Design integration patterns between D365 and external systems, including legacy POS, loyalty platforms, data platforms and third-party services, using DMF recurring integrations, OData, custom services, Business Events, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and Functions.
• •Build monitoring, validation and error handling so that corrupt or incomplete files are caught before they reach the ledger or inventory.
• •Plan data migration and cutover: entity sequencing, staging validation, reconciliation and performance at production volume.

Commerce:-

• •Lead the technical workstream for Dynamics 365 Commerce rollouts: Commerce Scale Unit, Store Commerce, Commerce SDK extensions, channel configuration and POS integration.
• •Define the transition path from legacy POS integration to Commerce, including coexistence during rollout.

Platform health and governance:-

• •Own security design: roles, duties and privileges mapped to the client's operating model, and alignment of role assignments with purchased license types to control license cost.
• •Own ALM: Azure DevOps pipelines, branching strategy, environment management across LCS and the Power Platform admin center, and release governance.
• •Act as the final escalation point for performance issues, using Trace Parser, LCS diagnostics, SQL analysis and set-based X++ optimization.
• •Simplify and harden workflows, approval hierarchies and configuration controls to prevent operational errors.

Leadership:-

• •Lead, mentor and review the work of the D365 development team; set coding standards and enforce them through code review.
• •Represent Tru in technical sessions with client IT leadership and Microsoft.
• •Contribute to hiring and to growing Tru's Dynamics 365 practice.

What you'll bring

Required:-

• •10+ years of Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 technical experience, including at least 5 years on D365 Finance and Operations.
• •At least three full implementation cycles, with at least one in a technical lead or technical architect role through go-live and hypercare.
• •Expert-level X++: extension model, chain of command, event handlers, data entities, SysOperation framework and workflow development.
• •Hands-on Dynamics 365 Commerce experience: Commerce Scale Unit, Store Commerce, Commerce SDK extensions and POS integration.
• •Proven integration design at high transaction volume: DMF recurring integrations, OData, custom services, Business Events and at least two Azure integration services.
• •Security design experience, including mapping roles to license types and reducing license overuse.
• •ALM ownership: Azure DevOps pipelines, LCS, and familiarity with the Power Platform admin center and Unified Developer Experience.
• •Performance engineering: Trace Parser, SQL query tuning and set-based X++ optimization.
• •Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management, enough to challenge a functional design.
• •Experience leading a development team and running code reviews.
• •Confident communication with client executives and IT leadership.

Preferred:-

• •Retail or grocery implementations with multi-store operations.
• •Recovery or stabilization of a troubled D365 go-live.
• •Working knowledge of Dataverse dual-write, Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• •Reporting architecture: Electronic Reporting, SSRS, and data export to Azure Synapse, Data Lake or Microsoft Fabric for Power BI.
• •Certifications: MB-500, MB-700 (Finance and Operations Solution Architect), or AZ-204.
• •Arabic language skills.
