Job Description Summary

• •Services and oversees repairs of all electrical equipment as required to ensure proper working condition when leaving the shop
• •Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds equipment
• •Fabricates parts and equipment as required to meet shop and customer needs
• •Diagnoses complex mechanical equipment problems
• •Adherence to all safety standards as prescribed by Sunbelt Rentals Management including company vehicle upkeep
• •Provides training and mentoring to other mechanics engaged in equipment repairs or maintenance
• •Provides training and assistance to customers on operation on Load Banks
• •Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time in the field
• •Make ready and receive low and medium voltage cables, all AC & DC Load Banks, power distribution items, and transformers for our rental customers
• •Troubleshoot/repair small load banks, resistor racks on large load banks, power distribution items, and low voltage cables
• •Assesses time and cost of repairs
• •Attends and participates in all Profit Center Meetings
• •Documents projects to include daily notes, labor logs, progress reports, JSS, JSA, etc.
• •Performs safety inspections on equipment
• •Available for on call emergency service as scheduled
• •Operate basic and advanced hand tools, metering tools, forklifts, pallet jacks, and shop tools
• •Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment
• •Adheres to all company, governmental and equipment related safety requirements
• •Attends all training and manufacturing training as directed
• •Performs other duties assigned as assigned by the manager

Base Pay Range: $21.84 - 31.39
