Salary – Starting from: £31,803.20 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Hours - Full Time, 40 hours

Location – Egham, Surrey, TW20

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Englefield Green Nursery. We are open to experience in either babies, toddler or preschool. Our lovely 72-place setting is Ofsted rated 'Good' and features well-resourced rooms, each one with direct access to their large garden and outdoor play area which the children can enjoy in all weathers for outdoor learning. The nursery is situated on the grounds of the Royal Holloway University, with free onsite parking, shops within walking distance and a short drive from Egham town centre.

The Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.

What we’re looking for

• •Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
• •Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• •Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• •Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• •Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
• •Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
