• Salary : £63,372 FTE (approx. £57,738 pro rata)

Responsibilities

As an Educational Psychologist, your role will be central to improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will:

Carry out psychological assessments and needs analyses to inform tailored interventions

Produce high-quality reports for families, schools, and professionals

Collaborate with education staff to co-develop strategies that remove barriers to learning

Deliver training and consultation to internal and external stakeholders

Supervise and support Assistant Psychologists and trainees

Contribute to service development, research, and reflective practice

Work as part of a wider clinical team, engaging in supervision and CPD

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following criteria:

Essential : Doctorate in Educational Psychology and current HCPC registration

Desirable : Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs

Strong communication, consultation, and report-writing skills

A collaborative, reflective approach to practice
