CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• •Ensures accurate performance of EEG tests as requested by physicians.
• •Manages and reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information.
• •Prepares patients for procedure by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures.
• •Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment.
• •Oversees patients during testing, monitoring patients’ status and recording observations.
• •Analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected.
• •Reports test results to physicians for further analysis.
• •Supervises the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensures work area is clean, and institutes quality control procedures.
• •Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs minor repairs.
• •Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
