Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum equipment uptime, operational safety, and continuous improvement across our electrical infrastructure and automated equipment. You will be responsible for handling day-to-day electrical troubleshooting, executing preventive maintenance plans, performing permanent root cause fixes, and maintaining strict safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• •Breakdown & Incident Management: Respond to daily breakdown calls promptly. Execute systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement permanent countermeasures that eliminate repeat failures.

Maintenance Execution: Plan and conduct Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective maintenance schedules for plant electrical systems, panel boards, motors, drives, and instrumentation.

Process Automation & Control Systems: Troubleshoot and configure closed-loop control systems (encoders, resolvers), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and industrial sensors (PNP/NPN).

Equipment Reliability Metrics: Monitor and optimize key operational KPIs including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and Overall Equipment Availability.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, maintain proper Earthing systems, and ensure high-standard Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) using safety interlocks and sensors.

Priority Management: Assess and prioritize simultaneous equipment breakdowns based on safety risks, production impact, and operational criticality.

PPE & EHS Standards: Ensure total adherence to electrical PPE requirements (arc flash gear, insulated gloves/boots) and standard industrial safety guidelines.
