Summary

The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia.***See Additional Information section below for details*** You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES AUSTRALIA MAINTENANCE SUPPORT - 900AU of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

• •You will layout, connect and disconnect temporary electric power lines from dock power supply to ship’s shore power terminals.
• •You will lay out, make temporary installations, connect and disconnect Shipyard provided temporary lighting circuits and various blower, pump and other accessory electrical equipment circuits.
• •You will maintain and operate drydock and marine railway electrical equipment. Install and remove temporary ventilation systems and issues Grade “A” Pure water.
• •You will perform maintenance and security watch inspections on operational and stationary equipment at various graving docs and caissons to assure continuous operation of certain automatically operated equipment.
• •You will operate drydock equipment when necessary to perform casualty control as outlined in the Drydock Operating Procedures.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Work assignments may involve working in hazardous duty areas and the working of irregular hours.
