Embedded Linux Software Engineer – R&D

Permanent hybrid role based in Carrigtwohill, Cork

What you will do:

• •Develop applications and libraries in C/C++
• •Develop user interfaces using Qt
• •Enable communication between embedded devices
• •Support hardware-software integration and system-level debugging
• •Test and troubleshoot deployed applications

Key Skills:

• •C/C++
• •QT / QML
• •Linux
• •GDB, Git, Bash, Shell, Python, CMake
• •hardware-communication protocols and interfaces including TCP/IP and USB
• •hardware-software integration
• •Familiarity with low-level embedded systems, Yocto Project and IEC 62304 an advantage!

What you need:

• •Must have a minimum of a Degree (level 8) in a suitable subject (e.g. Computer Science / Software Engineering) or equivalent technical background
• •An infectious enthusiasm for problem solving and doing work that makes a real difference

• Ireland Pay Ranges:
• •Ireland : €51,000 - €86,000 EUR Annual
