Duties

• •Provides technical guidance and field maintenance support to dam structure and its appurtenances, dams, levees, canals, culverts, rivers, roads, recreation areas, and grounds.
• •Plans use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project by project and on a week to week or month to month basis.
• •Establishes deadlines, priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods and policies set by supervisors.
• •Provides operational and environmental input into sections project plans, Project Management Plans, Environmental Impact Statements, and management documents involving the South Florida area of responsibility.
• •Provides for and ensures Project Security, Mobilization and Emergency Management activities are planned for and implemented.

Qualifications

However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Engineer Equipment Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to supervise work leads, train, and license one or more subordinate equipment operators. Must have experience in earth work operations with the following equipment excavators, bulldozers, front end loaders, and off-road trucks, etc. Must demonstrates proper work methods, determine job resources, and evaluates outcome. Must know equipment maintenance and repair. Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively communication instructions and maintain job safely. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Qualifications - Candidates will be evaluated in accordance with OPM General Schedule (GS) Qualification Standards or Federal Wage System (FWS) Qualifications and Job Elements: FWS Qualifications Screen Out Element: Ability to do the work of a(n) Engineering Equipment Operator Supervisor without more than normal supervision.
