Engineer, Platform Engineering & Reliability Specialist (Azure)

As an Engineer, Platform Engineering & Reliability Specialist reporting to the DevOps Manager, you'll play a critical role in building, automating, and operating cloud infrastructure and platform services that support the reliability and resilience of Capital Access Platforms.

You'll thrive in this position if you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about infrastructure automation, operational excellence, and building systems that scale globally.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure — including compute, networking, storage, identity, and container orchestration — to support platform reliability and scalability.
• •Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and reusable automation modules, contributing to code reviews, testing, and automated validation workflows.
• •Build and support deployment pipelines, including release automation and workflow orchestration across environments.
• •Drive reliability and resilience through full-stack observability, service-level tracking, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• •Execute disaster recovery planning and testing — including failover validation, backup and restore verification, and remediation of recovery gaps against defined recovery targets.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• •3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• •Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools; experience with containerized workloads and orchestration platforms preferred.
• •Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform for provisioning, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure.
• •Demonstrated experience with deployment pipelines, scripting, and automation.
• •Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, incident response, audit and compliance evidence gathering, and security controls in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Relevant cloud certifications or equivalent professional training.
• •Experience with GitOps practices, package management for containerized applications, or multi-cloud environments.
• •Background in capital markets, fintech, or a regulated industry.

This position will be located in Atlanta, Georgia and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
