Meet the team:

Founded in 1999, Dexcom, Inc. provides continuous glucose monitoring technology to help patients and their clinicians better manage diabetes. Since our inception, we have focused on better outcomes for patients, caregivers, and clinicians by delivering solutions for people with diabetes - while empowering our community to take control of diabetes.

You will be part of the Operations Global Engineering team, which is tasked with end-to-end technical oversight of our manufacturing technologies spanning our suppliers, contract manufacturers, automation & integration houses, and internal manufacturing. You will bring your passion for the development of complex manufacturing processes, using objective data to integrate cutting-edge technology into our strategy. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely across multiple functions and activities, gaining broad exposure to our entire product life cycle. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust processes are being delivered to our manufacturing sites for new product introduction, capacity expansion, and sustained on-market performance in support of Dexcom's thrilling growth trajectory in delivering life-changing products to our valued customers.

Where you come in:

You will set up and operate laboratory test equipment and instrumentation per released procedures, protocols, or plans.

You will execute and provide feedback on engineering studies for process and test method development.

You will execute qualification protocols with high attention to detail for equipment, processes, and test methods.

You will analyze and record test results, prepare written documentation, communicate findings and recommend solutions.

You will support induction of new equipment and fixtures into Dexcom systems including: writing equipment user requirements, coordinating placement with Facilities, preparing equipment binder documents, and setting up calibration and preventive maintenance schedules.

You will support troubleshooting and diagnosis of process-related problems, recommend corrective actions, and implement solutions.

You will assist in creating and revising Manufacturing Process Instructions, Test Instructions, and other technical documentation.

You will conduct out of tolerance, out of calibration, and other similar preliminary investigation activities.

You will support acquisition and staging of materials for engineering studies and other manufacturing builds.

You will perform routine verifications of equipment and laboratory areas and report any issues to engineers or supervisors; engage with equipment vendors when external support is required.

You will support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize process and test methods steps.

You will comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements; highlight safety concerns in the working areas.

Additional preferred qualifications:

• •Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• •Experience with PLCs, automated production equipment & processes, pneumatics, electro/mechanical systems and packaging/ kitting equipment
• •Proficient in learning new equipment functions, setups, software and tools
• •Able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications
• •Technical writing skills as applied to manufacturing documentation and process development
• •Experience operating precision measurement and inspection systems to verify product dimensions, features, and quality requirements
• •Experience collecting, documenting, and analyzing measurement data for quality control and process verification

Experience and Education

Typically requires a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
