Engineering Yard Operative - Hourly

We are looking for a Dayshift labourer/general assistant to join our busy engineering department in our Glenrothes depot.

What will you be doing?

• •Working pattern to be discussed at interview, 38 hours per week.
• •Undertake a wide range of duties to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the engineering premises and smooth operation of the depot.
• •Fuel and wash our vehicles to meet service requirements.
• •Fully comply with all health and safety and engineering legislation along with company policies.
• •Fully comply with all relevant SSOW.
• •Assist supervisors and managers with all ad hoc requirements.
• •Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
• •Maintain and develop technical skills as required.
• •Practice the highest standards of housekeeping.

Who are we looking for?

• •You must possess a full UK driving licence and PCV licence or the ability to attain one.
• •Ability to work under pressure and as part of a close-knit team.
• •A flexible approach to working hours.
