Why are we building Nuclei?

Before we started Nuclei, we listed down a few guiding principles. These were essentially our learning from previous startups/companies:

• •Think big, think global, and not limit ourselves only to India.
• •Build a company. We wanted to be sustainable from day 1 and build a profitable business. This does not mean that we compromise on growth, but we most definitely avoid unsustainable growth.
• •Build for the long term, not flip it in a few years.
• •And most importantly, we wanted to change the perception about India, from being a back-office/outsourcing destination, to a product destination.

All the above points came together to form Nuclei's vision — "To build a well respected global product company." At Nuclei, we are building innovative products that help enterprises increase customer engagement and build deeper relationships with their customers, by offering value-added services like travel and gifting ecosystems.

About This Role

As part of this vision, we're building a full travel ecosystem including Flights, Hotels, and Experiences, for one of the largest telecom operators in Europe, and expanding this proposition across multiple markets in Europe. This particular EIR seat sits within that travel team. You'll take ownership of category features and initiatives from first identifying the problem through to launch and iteration, working closely with the rest of the product, design, and engineering team.

Who should apply?

• •Someone with 3 to 5 years of product building experience
• •We're looking for product builders who can go 0→1 as well as 1→10 — building something new, and then scaling it through product-led growth, journey optimization, and continuous iteration. It's not just build and forget.
• •Prior experience in a startup would be preferred
• •Founder or entrepreneurial experience is strongly preferred for this role — whether that's starting a company, being an early team member somewhere, or building a meaningful project of your own from scratch
• •We have a strong preference for candidates with prior experience in travel, marketplace, or high-volume consumer products

What will you do?

• •Own category features and initiatives within our Flights, Hotels, and Experiences, product from problem definition through to launch and iteration.
• •Translate customer problems and business inputs into clear requirements and prototypes. Scope and prioritize your own work based on customer and business impact.
• •Work closely with the engineers, designers, and analysts who care deeply about their product. Should be able to quickly build rapport with them.
• •Understand the tech that goes behind the product like data flow among systems, tech bottlenecks, and RCAs when things break.
• •Analyze user behavior, funnel metrics, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, and drive product-led growth initiatives - journey optimization, activation, retention - to keep pushing your category forward.
• •Plan your features in smaller sprints while staying aware of the larger vision for the travel product and hold a high bar for quality. We're building a world-class consumer product, so both the customer journey and the underlying tech need to be top-notch.
