The courage our IBMers have to make critical decisions every day is essential to IBM becoming the catalyst for progress, always embracing challenges with resources they have to hand, a can-do attitude and always striving VLSI Circuit Design /Physical Design/ Integration Engineer You will be responsible for the physical and electrical design and development of high-frequency CMOS chips in leading edge technologies using sophisticated design tools and flows to implement circuit schematics (microprocessors and ASIC) and verify against technology design rules. Skills required include CMOS circuit and VLSI design, timing analysis. Experience with Cadence tool suite is viewed as a significant advantage. Analog Circuit Design Engineer You will be part of the team that is responsible for delivering our high speed SERDES interfaces for IBM Power and Z microprocessors in advanced 3nm technologies and beyond. You will also help your new team transition the high-speed IO architecture from NMZ to PAM4 in support of future IBM microprocessors. You will use a combination of industry standard and IBM proprietary tools to design, simulate, and layout your circuits. You will have an opportunity to work on transmitter, receiver, PLL, or other analog designs. You will learn what it takes to develop and deliver complex analog circuits for IBM products.
