Sentara Health is hiring a Full-time, Night Shift, Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Hours/Shift :

Full-time, Night Shift Hours from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., and work every other weekend.

• Responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.
• 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Education

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

Less than a year Environmental Associate Experience (Required)

1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience in lieu of High School Education (Required)

Floor Tech Experience (Preferred)

Healthcare/Hospitality Experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.08 - $26.26 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
