Event Set-Up Attendant (Banquets / Events) – Part-Time or Full-Time

Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Set-Up Attendant and help bring events to life. In this hands-on role, you’ll set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and special events—ensuring everything is ready, organized, and guest-ready.

Position Details

• •Shift: Flexible (Morning availability required, weekends as needed)

What You’ll Do

• •Set up and break down meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and event areas
• •Arrange tables, chairs, risers, and equipment according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• •Skirt tables and prepare rooms to established standards
• •Reset rooms between events and ensure readiness for upcoming functions
• •Move equipment, furniture, portable dividers, and event materials as needed
• •Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, storage areas, and public spaces
• •Stock supplies and ensure rooms are fully prepared for events
• •Assist banquet staff during events when needed
• •Report maintenance or equipment issues to leadership
• •Occasionally operate company vehicles or golf carts

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• •Previous event setup, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• •Valid driver’s license preferred
• •Ability to work early mornings and flexible schedules
• •Strong work ethic and ability to stay active throughout the shift
• •Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• •Ability to follow directions and work efficiently under time constraints

Physical Requirements

• •Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• •Frequent lifting, pushing, and moving equipment
• •Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
