About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Event Specialist to support Corporate Events and Executive Briefing Center (EBC) programs in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This role will coordinate event logistics, vendors, budgets, content, and stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Events & EBC

Support the planning and execution of corporate events, customer engagements, and EBC programs.

Manage event timelines, calendars, agendas, and key deliverables.

Coordinate with customers, speakers, internal teams, and other stakeholders.

Track event results, attendance, feedback, and other key metrics.

Budget & Logistics

Track event budgets, expenses, purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations.

Manage event logistics including F&B, transportation, signage, shipping, and venue requirements.

Ensure vendors and internal partners meet agreed timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Vendor Management

Source and coordinate vendors, obtain quotes, and support negotiations.

Manage vendor relationships, timelines, and deliverables to ensure quality and timely execution.

Company Store

Manage day-to-day Company Store operations, including orders, billing, inventory, and tracking.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

Event Content & Communications

Assist with presentations, event communications, surveys, agendas, and promotional materials.

Support post-event communications and reporting to measure event effectiveness.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in event management, event coordination, marketing, or a related field.

Experience with corporate or customer events; technology industry experience is an asset.

Strong organizational, project management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable working with budgets, invoices, and purchase orders.

Experience with vendors and event logistics is an asset.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of 65,000 - 90,000 USD. The posted range reflects the amount Extreme Networks reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role upon hire. This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria based on skills, experience, responsibility, and working conditions. Actual compensation offered will depend on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location.
