Job Title

Executive - Environment Job Description

Responsible for operating and maintaining the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system to ensure compliance with TNPCB, environmental regulations, and EHS requirements

Key Responsibilities

• •Operate and monitor the ETP and ZLD systems for smooth and compliant operations.
• •Conduct daily jar tests to optimize treatment efficiency.
• •Maintain operational records, logbooks, and environmental documentation.
• •Monitor effluent quality and ensure compliance with TNPCB and environmental standards.
• •Manage inventory of ETP chemicals, laboratory chemicals, and critical consumables.
• •Handle hazardous waste as per statutory and company guidelines.
• •Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance activities and availability of critical spares.
• •Perform environmental monitoring and report any deviations or abnormalities.
• •Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe plant operations.
• •Follow cGMP, EHS, safety, and site procedures at all times.
• •Support audits, inspections, and environmental compliance activities.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or Environmental Science.

Experience:

2–5 years of experience in Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), or Wastewater Treatment operations in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industry.
