Extrusion Operator

Job Description:

The Extrusion Press Operator will be responsible for the process of applying coating to drawn and cut steel wire.

Essential Functions :

Candidate must be able to learn all aspects of the extrusion and baking process.

This person must be mechanically inclined and willing to utilize these skills to enhance the value of the team.

Perform required quality checks

Complete machine setup/changeover promptly

Input data accurately into Routecard

Qualifications

Able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to work well with others .

Be safety conscious and have a “safety first” attitude.

Obtain a forklift license and be physically capable of safely operating the forklift

Must be willing to cross-train in other areas.

Press Operator experience preferred.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders

Computer experience preferred .
