Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Fabric Technician assists in the manufacturing of PVC covers for the structures we rent, sell and install. This position is also responsible for the cleaning and repair of items returning from the field.

Position Responsibilities:

• •Operate and maintenance heat welding equipment
• •Operate and maintenance sewing and grommeting equipment
• •Review fabric drawings/plans and construct from them
• •Operate and maintenance floor cleaning equipment to maintain housekeeping and clean fabric
• •Perform daily inspection and maintenance on shop equipment and tools
• •Perform general housekeeping of warehouse and exterior premises daily
• •Attend all required safety meetings and required training
• •Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• •Ability to read and respond to common inquiries from teammates or managers
• •Ability to read and understand tape measurements
• •Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• •General mechanical aptitude
• •Safety oriented

Base Pay Range: $17.75 - 24.80
