Job Summary



 Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities Engineer located in Prai,Penang.

This role involves applying engineering principles to design, modify, or develop facilities, testing methods, machines, equipment, or processes used in product manufacturing.

What a typical day looks like:

• •Knowledge and practice in facilities related systems operation and maintenance (Electrical, HVAC, CDA/VAC, DI/WWTP, Fire Protection, etc.).
• •Research facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
• •Research engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.
• •Defines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.
• •Provides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.
• •Compiles and research facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
• •Studies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.
• •Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• •Guides projects and project teams.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• •Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience and training.
• •Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Industrial or Facilities Engineer or related area.
