Family Recovery Project Program Director

Description

The Family Recovery Project Program Director provides statewide leadership for the New Hampshire Family Recovery Project, a Regional Partnership Grant initiative designed to improve outcomes for children and families affected by parental or caregiver substance use. Reporting to the Vice President /COO, the Program Director leads the planning, implementation, coordination, and sustainability of the project; supports participating Family Resource Centers and partners; and ensures that project responsibilities, timelines, resources, federal requirements, and expected outcomes remain on track.

The Program Director works across Archways departments and with statewide partners to strengthen implementation of the Family Threads Practice Model, coordinate project administration, support continuous quality improvement, and build the systems and relationships necessary for long-term success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead statewide implementation of the New Hampshire Family Recovery Project, including annual work plans, implementation timelines, deliverables, and activities across the Planning and Implementation Phases.
• •Oversee implementation of the Family Threads Practice Model across participating Family Resource Centers, including site readiness, certification, fidelity, technical assistance, coaching, and corrective action when needed.
• •Facilitate the New Hampshire Family Recovery System Leadership Council and coordinate communication, shared accountability, decision-making, and follow-through among Regional Partnership Grant partners.
• •Support the development, execution, and monitoring of Memoranda of Understanding, referral protocols, care-coordination processes, and other agreements necessary for effective project implementation.
• •Build and maintain collaboration across child welfare, behavioral health, recovery support, Family Resource Centers, healthcare, juvenile justice diversion, and other participating systems and community partners.
• •Ensure compliance with federal Regional Partnership Grant requirements, reporting expectations, approved work plans, performance measures, project milestones, and required documentation.
• •Prepare and coordinate required progress reports, performance reports, grant documentation, federal site visits, and communication with federal project officers.
• •Work closely with Archways finance and administrative staff to monitor project expenditures, cost sharing, contracts, staffing, schedules, records, and other administrative and operational requirements necessary to support the project.
• •Collaborate with the project Data Specialist and OMNI Institute to coordinate data collection, data sharing, performance monitoring, evaluation activities, confidentiality requirements, and use of findings to support implementation and decision-making.
• •Lead Continuous Quality Improvement activities using implementation, fidelity, performance, and outcome information to identify barriers, strengthen practice, address areas of concern, and support ongoing program improvement.
• •Coordinate statewide workforce-development activities, including training, leadership development, technical assistance, communities of practice, peer learning, and continued development of family-centered, recovery-informed, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed practice.
• •Lead sustainability and systems-development efforts, including identifying funding and partnership opportunities, supporting integration of Family Threads into existing statewide systems, promoting improvements that strengthen family recovery supports, and contributing to broader Archways planning, administrative coordination, system development, documentation, and special projects that appropriately support the work of the project and organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Human Services, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• •Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in child welfare, behavioral health, substance use disorder services, family support, public health, or another related human-services field.
• •Three years of demonstrated experience managing federally funded grants or large, multi-partner initiatives.
• •Three years of demonstrated experience leading cross-system collaboration and coordinating work among multiple organizations, agencies, or community partners.
• •Knowledge of family-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practices.
• •Experience with program implementation, continuous quality improvement, and performance measurement.
• •Strong organizational, project-management, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain clear follow-through.
• •Ability to analyze performance information and use data and evaluation findings to support program improvement and decision-making.
• •Ability to travel throughout New Hampshire.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience working with Family Resource Centers and other community-based organizations.
• •Knowledge of New Hampshire’s child welfare and substance use disorder systems.
• •Experience with implementation science or evidence-based program implementation.
• •Experience supervising professional staff.
• •Familiarity with federal Regional Partnership Grants or comparable federal grants.
