We are looking for a Field Account Manager in Ireland.

Join our Sales department as a Field Account Manager and play a key role in driving commercial success across a portfolio of selected Biopharma accounts in Ireland. Through strategic account management, business development activities, and close customer collaboration, you will help accelerate the adoption of innovation solutions that support better health for more people.

Based from home in Ireland, with customers primarily located in the Dublin, Cork and Limerick regions, you will manage customer relationships across your territory while working closely with internal stakeholders. The role includes regular national travel and occasional international travel.

Grow with Us – Your Responsibilities

Understand customers’ needs to proactively promote the full range of the Sartorius portfolio and services to achieve sales and revenue targets by both in – person and remote interaction to assigned customers

Identify key decision makers, develop prospects, maintain leads in CRM (Salesforce) and build and further develop relationships

Managing the account and relationships with different functions and hierarchy level within the accounts, upselling and increasing revenue

Act as a first point of contact providing support with technical and commercial issues

Identify new business opportunities within the Biopharma market

Liaise with internal teams such as Application Specialists, Order Process Management, Business Development, Sales Support, Marketing to utilise resources to support value offerings throughout the entire sales process

Collaborate with cross functional team to implement account strategies to support the customer and gain market share

Conducting presentations, demos, negotiations, generate quotations and respond to customer enquiries

Present and drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

Pursue continuous improvement in collaboration and way of working with the customer

What will convince us

BSc degree in Life sciences or Engineering or equivalent would be preferred, higher level qualification would be beneficial

Good understanding of biotechnology industry and relevant technologies

Industry experience within R&D/manufacturing or process development with biologicals

Demonstrated sales experience in biotech/pharma industry would be beneficial

Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills

Have excellent record management & organisational skills, use of CRM would be advantageous

Creative thinker when it comes to problem solving, self – motivated and results oriented – motivated by winning orders and hitting targets

Persistent, ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility

Ability to work as part of a cross functional team

Willingness and flexibility to travel
