Field Application Specialist - Bioprocessing - Fluid Management Technology (Single Use) - Southeast

Join our Fluid Management Technology team as a Field Application Specialist and play a key role in supporting customers across the design, validation, and implementation of innovative fluid management solutions. By providing product expertise, application knowledge, and technical support throughout each stage of the customer journey, you will help accelerate the development and production of innovative therapies for better health for more people. Based in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area with a remote work model, you will support business growth across the region, including potential coverage in Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

Your main missions are to ensure successful design, validation and implementation of our products by supporting sales for product design, product positioning and demonstration, and supporting customers for application development work, initial startups and training.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• •Identify, reach, and engage prospective customers, including new logo and whitespace opportunities, in collaboration with Commercial to generate and qualify new business opportunities through proactive technical hunting while ensuring structured communication for ongoing account management
• •Plan, execute, and manage technical demonstrations and trials to validate customer fit and accelerate product adoption
• •Drive opportunity progression by positioning solution fit, quantifying customer impact, and addressing technical objections through technical selling and value-based discussions while promoting the defined product and service portfolio
• •Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop customer proposals and commercial offers by providing critical technical expertise that supports successful deal closure
• •Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support to secure customer adoption and generate repeat business while ensuring a smooth transition to Central Sales after adoption is established
• •Capture and share actionable Voice-of-Customer insights, including user needs, feedback, and competitive intelligence, to influence the assigned product portfolio and strengthen sales enablement approaches

What will convince us:

• •Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience
• •3+ years of technical sales, applications support, or pre‑sales experience in a scientific or technical environment (within MSAT, cGMP Manufacturing, and/or Tech Transfer Teams), Single-use experience highly valued
• •Demonstrated hunter mindset with proven ability to identify, advance, and win new opportunities
• •Strong hands‑on technical capability, including demos, trials, and customer evaluations
• •Excellent consultative communication skills, able to articulate technical and commercial value to diverse stakeholders
• •Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes, with strong documentation discipline
• •Willing to travel >50% as this role is heavily focused on external customers
