Join the power movement as an Field Assembly Manager
The Field Assembly Manager – Third Shift is responsible for leading and coordinating overnight assembly operations supporting the development and production of a first-of-its-kind fusion tokamak. This position provides hands-on leadership to a highly skilled workforce and oversees the activities of three union trades: Millwrights, Welders, and Electricians .
The Field Assembly Manager will ensure that work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering requirements, quality standards, production schedules, and established work instructions. This role requires a strong manufacturing leader who can effectively coordinate multiple skilled trades while working closely with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, and day-shift leadership.
Because the organization is building advanced fusion technology, this position requires a leader who is comfortable operating in an environment where processes are continually being developed, refined, and improved. The successful candidate will be highly visible on the production floor, capable of making sound decisions in real time, and skilled at removing obstacles to keep critical assembly activities moving forward
Hours: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Salary + 15% differential
