ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Elevate the Retail Experience
Own how PAX shows up across dispensaries, including merchandising, product visibility, displays, fixtures, signage, POS materials, and other in-store touchpoints.

Support product launches, promotions, and priority campaigns with consistent retail execution.
Monitor competitive activity and retail trends, translating field observations into recommendations for Sales and Marketing.
Lead the Field Team
Own the PAX Brand Ambassador program, including recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and ongoing management.
Set clear brand standards for how ambassadors represent PAX with consumers, budtenders, and retail partners.
Equip the field team with the product knowledge, tools, talking points, and materials needed to educate consumers and drive conversion.
Build efficient market coverage plans based on account priorities, sales opportunities, launches, and local events.
Establish KPIs and track activity, execution quality, and impact.
Build Retail Advocacy
Build strong relationships with budtenders, store managers, and other influential retail partners.
Develop an ongoing budtender engagement strategy spanning product education, training, incentives, sampling or gifting, and relationship-building.
Create scalable training programs while maintaining the high-touch approach that matters in dispensary retail.
Gather feedback on products, consumer behavior, competitive activity, and barriers to sell-through.
Bring PAX to Life
Develop and execute a market-level activation strategy spanning retail pop-ups, vendor days, consumer events, community partnerships, and sponsorships.
Own activation execution from planning through wrap-up, including staffing, logistics, vendors, materials, product, compliance, and the on-site brand experience.
Translate national campaigns and product launches into locally relevant experiences.
Build repeatable activation playbooks and evaluate programs based on participation, engagement, sales impact, and other relevant KPIs.
HOW YOU'LL WORK
Build genuine relationships and represent PAX with credibility and professionalism.
Bring strong operational discipline to fast-moving, highly visible work.
Stay flexible when conditions change and solve problems calmly in the moment.
Balance premium brand standards with the realities of retail execution.
Communicate clearly and keep cross-functional partners informed.
Operate with energy, resourcefulness, high ownership, and low ego.
Spend approximately 60 to 70% of your time in market.
QUALIFICATIONS
5 to 7+ years of experience in field, retail, or experiential marketing for a consumer brand.
Demonstrated success planning and executing retail programs, activations, and events.
Strong relationship-building skills across sales, retail, vendors, and external partners.
Excellent project management skills, with attention to timelines, logistics, and budgets.
Experience gathering market feedback and translating it into useful business insights.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Experience in cannabis, CPG, beverage alcohol, consumer electronics, wellness, or another regulated consumer category is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with licensed retailers, cannabis consumers, and state-specific compliance.
Genuine enthusiasm for cannabis and creating exceptional consumer experiences.
