Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

• •Perform Service Maintenance, planned, and unplanned in Focused Area: Filling lines
• •Complete assigned job in a timely and qualitative manner
• •Installation, Commissioning or Overhaul support/ execution
• •Prepare Hazard and Risk Assessment and ensure implementation in compliance with customer & company SOP
• •Perform periodical visit inspection of the plants to monitor the status and performances
• •Perform site troubleshooting and/or customer support
• •Write comprehensive service report timely
• •Provide customer training on equipment operation and basic maintenance
• •Promote company’s product and services
• •Support the Service Sales in generating opportunity after site inspections
• •Support Service Sales for Technical clarification & Spare Parts recommendation
• •Join customer meeting when technical support is required
• •Contributing positively to Business's achievement, incl his individual targets and Country targets
• •Utilize the supportive tools, part of the Smart filling online (GEMS, GESP, GEA-Assist, e-shop).
• •Travel requirement 80%, in the country and/or other SEA countries.
• •Other tasks assigned by manager.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• •2–5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, commissioning, or automation engineering.
• •Experience in food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or aseptic processing industries is preferred.
• •Experience with filling machines, packaging equipment, or process automation systems is highly desirable.
• •Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machine maintenance.
• •Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, industrial networks, and automation troubleshooting.
• •Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• •Knowledge of servo systems, sensors, instrumentation, and pneumatic systems.
• •Familiarity with aseptic processing and filling technology is an advantage.
• •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• •Customer-oriented mindset and communication skills.
• •Ability to travel frequently and work independently.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.
