We’re looking for a Final Year Student Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly practice in Dartford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a student approaching qualification who is looking for a supportive team to help them develop their clinical skills, gain valuable hands-on experience and make the transition into life as a qualified RVN.

You’ll be joining an established and collaborative team consisting of 1 Senior Vet, 2 Vets, 1 Head Nurse, 2 RVNs, 1 VCA and 5 Client Care colleagues. You’ll be surrounded by experienced team members who are committed to excellent patient care, teamwork and supporting one another.

How You’ll Make a Difference

We understand that the final year of training is an important stage in your career. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues who can help you develop your practical skills, prepare for qualification and build confidence as you progress towards becoming an RVN.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about veterinary nursing, with a genuine desire to learn and become an integral part of the team.

Working Pattern

The role is 40 hours per week across 5 days, with dedicated day release for college studies. You’ll also participate in a 1:3 Saturday rota, with time back in lieu, helping to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

Applicants must be currently enrolled on an approved Veterinary Nursing training programme with a recognised training college and be able to participate in a day-release programme alongside their employment.

This is a non-funded role, so applicants should have an existing college/training arrangement in place. Apprenticeship funding may be available following an assessment of eligibility, and we would be happy to discuss this with you as part of the recruitment process.
