Finance Analyst III, Managed Care

Position Purpose: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support Centene's Provider Network team and help achieve company goals through cost-saving initiatives. Serve as a key stakeholder across multiple markets supporting all lines of business, compiling and analyzing financial information, leading complex financial projects, and providing data-driven insights to inform network and reimbursement-related business decisions.

Key Details: This role is focused on evaluating and interpreting analyses and models developed by other teams rather than building the underlying data infrastructure, reporting tools, or queries. Candidates with healthcare or managed care experience will be best positioned for success in this role. Success in this role requires a blend of provider network development experience and complex financial analytics skills. Experience supporting Medicaid, Medicare, provider contracting, provider network management, healthcare analytics, medical cost trend analysis, or reimbursement methodologies is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience interpreting complex healthcare financial analyses, evaluating provider payment methodologies and fee schedules, analyzing payment differences across provider types and between Medicare and Medicaid payment models, and applying analytical findings to business decisions. Fully remote; ET and CT time zones preferred.

In this Finance Analyst III role, you will:

• •Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
• •Lead market calls and support day-to-day market needs to ensure initiatives remain on track with department goals.
• •Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
• •Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
• •Handle complex and high level financial analysis
• •Present and discuss analysis with upper management
• •Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
• •Manage multiple high-value initiatives from planning through implementation and completion.
• •Work with project management and leadership to ensure initiatives are on track and goals/timelines are being met

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
