Job Description

In this role you act as a hands-on finance sparring partner to the Grooming & Beauty business, helping teams turn commercial and portfolio choices into clear financial implications and actions. You will combine robust analysis, scenario modelling and strong communication to support profitable growth, improve forecast quality and strengthen decision-making across the end-to-end P&L.

You are a part of the Grooming & Beauty Finance team. You will report to the G&B Head of Finance and work closely with Consumer Marketing, MarCom, Portfolio and other business teams, as well as Finance colleagues across FP&A/CoE, Functional Finance, Accounting Operations and the markets. This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving between detailed analysis and senior-ready business communication.

Your role you are :

Serving as a trusted sparring partner for Consumer Marketing, MarCom and Portfolio teams, bringing a constructive Finance challenge and translating business questions into actionable financial insight.

Supporting simulations and scenario analyses for portfolio, pricing, marketing, innovation and resource-allocation choices, clearly showing the P&L impact, sensitivities, risks and trade-offs.

Supporting the G&B Head of Finance in monthly forecasts, latest views, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and related performance-management preparations, including consolidation of assumptions, gap analysis and follow-up decisions.

Providing robust Gross Margin and SellEx analysis for the business unit, identifying underlying drivers, variances, trends and corrective actions across products, portfolios and investments.

Building an end-to-end view of the G&B P&L and translating complex data into concise, powerful management insights, dashboards and presentations for business and Finance leadership.

Tracking functional and initiative budgets, improving transparency on commitments and actuals, flagging risks early and supporting owners in defining recovery actions.

Supporting business-case development and investment planning by validating assumptions, modelling value creation, testing sensitivities and monitoring delivery against approved cases.

Contributing to AI-enabled financial planning and analytics initiatives, including use-case design, model testing, data validation and adoption of simpler, faster and more predictive ways of working.

Collaborating closely with FP&A/CoE, Accounting Operations, Functional Finance, markets and other business partners to ensure data quality, consistent definitions and efficient delivery of recurring Finance processes.

Taking clear ownership as the main Finance contact for assigned topics and providing reliable cross-coverage within the Assistant BP network during vacations, sickness or peak workload periods.

Supporting a strong control environment through accurate documentation, disciplined review and adherence to Philips financial policies and internal-control requirements.

You're the right fit if :

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

At least 5 years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in business partnering, FP&A, accounting or commercial Finance within a complex international environment.

Strong analytical and financial-modelling skills, with the ability to connect operational and commercial drivers to Gross Margin, SellEx and the broader P&L.

Business acumen and curiosity: you ask the right questions, understand stakeholder objectives and bring a clear Finance point of view rather than only reporting numbers.

The ability to turn complex data into concise recommendations and compelling presentations for non-Finance and senior stakeholders.

Strong Excel capability and confidence working with planning, reporting, visualization and analytics tools; experience with AI-enabled analytics or automation is an advantage.

A proactive, hands-on and reliable working style, with clear ownership, sound judgment and the ability to balance speed with accuracy.

Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, including the confidence to challenge constructively and align across functions.

Fluent English, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is EUR 78.200 - EUR 130.300. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results.
