How you’ll make an impact:

• •Month-End Close and Reporting – Manage cost center finances including journal entries, review of financial measures, providing guidance and advice on more complex issues regarding cost center performance, and developing BU specific reports (e.g., commission support, customer rebates, competitive analyses)
• •Planning and Analysis – Advise Cost Center managers to generate complex solutions to obtaining necessary resources within budgetary constraints, including identifying opportunities and mitigating risks (e.g., cost center planning, revenue planning, reporting with increasing responsibilities. Assess complex report data (e.g., month-end matrix report, quarter-end year-over-year sequence reporting, headcount reporting, trend analysis, planned and forecast variance analysis) to identify opportunities for course correction/course alignment, including writing justification for variances
• •Compliance – Ensure Edwards compliance by applying knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, SOX, GAAP financials, SEC, IRS) to develop complex explanations for internal and external auditors
• •Special Projects – Varying duties by business unit, e.g., developing trend analysis and mix analysis on gross profit, sales operations, clinical contract management
• •Strategy/KOD Execution – Partner with functional leaders to define and drive KOD and strategy execution
• •Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

• •Bachelor's Degree in related field
• •A minimum of eight years previous related experience (OR six years with a Masters)

• •Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems

• •Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
• •Extensive understanding of multi-relational impact if the Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Statement and how journal entries affect each statement
• •Extensive understanding of related aspects of financial processes and/or systems
• •Understanding of major products and keys to success of the business (acumen)
• •Strict attention to detail
• •Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• •Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• •Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and finance team
• •Ability to consult in project setting within specific sections of financial area
• •Ability to provide financial leadership to outsourcing partners on a task level

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $105,000 to $148,000 (highly experienced).
