About the Job
We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager with experience in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Support the Head of Finance in managing the company's day-to-day finance operations and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, while monitoring performance and highlighting key variances.
Review contracts and commercial agreements to identify financial risks and ensure alignment with company policies.
Coordinate tax, compliance, audit, and regulatory activities with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
Prepare financial analyses and reports to support business planning, operational decisions, and new initiatives.
Lead or support finance-related projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, cost tracking, and reporting accuracy.
Support the Head of Finance on strategic initiatives, ad hoc financial analyses, and other business priorities as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.
Experience supporting US-based finance operations, ideally gained at a Big Four accounting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG).
Experience managing the month-end closing process and preparing financial statements.
Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
Tech-savvy finance professional with experience using accounting software and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is a plus.
