Finance Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team at AVATR Global Design Center.

This is a 1-year contract position, ideally starting October 1, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

In this role, you will support day-to-day financial controlling and accounting, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial processes and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international automotive environment.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and invoice ledgers by ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments, including the collection, verification, and submission of payment-related documents and applications.

Support the finance team with month-end close processes, including the preparation of monthly financial statements and local German financial/tax reports.

Maintain finance systems and master data, ensuring data accuracy and supporting the implementation and improvement of finance-related processes.

Facilitate effective communication with company headquarters, ensuring alignment on financial activities, updates, and strategic initiatives.

Support external tax and audit activities by preparing relevant documents, coordinating requests, and ensuring timely and accurate information.

Participate in various finance-related support tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

2-3 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the automotive OEM sector.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP software is a must.

Fluent in English and Chinese. German language skill is preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
