The Financial Analyst contributes to the analysis, planning, and monitoring of the company’s financial performance. They provide relevant analyses and recommendations that support decision-making while working closely with business partners and operational teams.
This role contributes to ABB Canada’s Electrification, Installation Products division and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
This is a temporary, 6-month, part-time position with 24 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial results and prepare periodic management reports.
- Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and profitability analyses.
- Perform analyses related to inventory activities, standard costs, and other expenses associated with the business unit.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and management tools.
Qualifications
- University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and a strong sense of accountability.
- Initiative and a proactive approach.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
