Job description: -

2–6 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay / Accounts Payable processes, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.

• Responsibilities:
• This is a hands-on position that requires transaction processing and account reconciliation skills. Duties include:

• •Handle the end-to-end P2P process, including requisition creation, PO issuance, invoice verification, and payment processing.
• •Review and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• •Coordinate with procurement, finance, and business teams to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or PO/invoice mismatches.
• •Perform vendor reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• •Monitor GR/IR accounts, open POs, and aging reports to ensure process efficiency.
• •Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable and accruals.
• •Maintain vendor master data and ensure periodic updates and compliance with internal controls.
• •Assist in automation initiatives and process improvements within the P2P function.
• •Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• •Collaborate with global teams and handle queries from internal stakeholders and vendors.

Qualifications

• •A minimum of a Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
• •Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must (proactively communicates status, issues, conflicts, and priorities up, down and across the engagement team)
• •Ability to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously plus excellent analytical and decision-making skills
• •Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment preferred but not required
• •Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• •Strong organizational skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.
• •Ability to adapt to change effectively
• •Experience with automated accounting systems (i.e. Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Tallie, SAP, Oracle, JDE)
• •Blackline experience preferred
• •Knowledge and understanding of GAAP

Shift timing

Shift timing would be 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST. During month end Close/transition period, the shift timing may require to be extended as needed. Candidate should be open to working in any shift as per business requirement.
