Financial Controller

For our Heating and Refrigeration team in the Netherlands we are searching a Financial Controller.

You will work in the Finance department of GEA Refrigeration Netherlands in Den Bosch. The Finance department is the spider in the web when it comes to receiving, processing, and delivering all kinds of information. The team consists of seven direct colleagues and the Senior Director Finance. It also collaborates with the Shared Service Centre in Manilla. Continuous improvement is of paramount importance to us. In this position, you can develop yourself into a full business partner for the organization.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Financial Controller you are responsible for the co-ordination of day-to-day controlling and accounting functions as well as providing assistance to Entity management.

• •Supporting monthly and ad hoc month-end close and reporting activities.
• •Ensuring completeness and correctness of financial accounting (incl. P/L and Balance Sheet).
• •Bank payments screening.
• •Providing tax and legal declarations.
• •Supporting ad hoc GEA initiatives.
• •Intercompany reporting and invoicing.
• •Automation of standard day-to-day tasks.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• •Bachelor, preferable in business administration or economics.
• •Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Controlling and Finance.
• •Good financial modeling skills as well as business and data analysis skills.
• •Financial software & MS Office.
• •Fluent Dutch and English.
• •Analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically.
• •Intercultural experience & skills.
