Financial Performance and Data Reporting Lead

Summary

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Associate Commissioner, Debt Servicing and Financial Solutions. As a Financial Performance and Data Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for data collection to include conducting analysis; trending; forecasting; interpretation of data; as well as the reporting of results for information related to the Treasury Franchise Fund's Administrative Business Line.

Duties

As a Financial Performance and Data Reporting Lead, you will: Establish, implement, and execute Treasury Franchise Fund's budget, cost, and price methodologies and reports related information timely and accurately to various audiences. Monitor budget, accounting, staffing, driver, and performance data to spot and track trends and identify problems in service offering, customer accounts or individuals. Lead the Administrative Business Line's internal and external performance measurement development and maintenance process, including establishing data definitions, developing sound measure methodologies, and managing the quality assurance reviews of performance data. Collaborate with Business Line management to define and document quality assurance standards and to create, develop, and execute day-to-day data quality assurance plans to identify and address data issues, minimize errors, and track performance against data quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Analyze financial and performance issues, interpreting laws and policies, and providing recommendations; AND - Reconcile and evaluate financial or management data (budget, accounting, cost, or performance) and effectively communicating results to stakeholders; AND - Collect, validate, and analyze data to support informed decision making, strengthen business processes, and guide organizational planning. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
