Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst Reports to: FP&A Manager / CFO Location: Kolkata GCC Office Working Hours: Asia/EMEA time shift Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning Analysis (FP&A) team. The role will support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to enable informed business decisions. The successful candidate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, Sales, and senior management, to provide meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support business planning and decision making. 2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review key financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. 3. Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis against actual performance. 4. Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial and business data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 5. Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide actionable financial insights. 6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial processes. 7. Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analyses and provide recommendations to support business initiatives and management decisions. Candidate Requirements 1. Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. 2. Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and budgeting. 3. Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills, with strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA. 4. Analytical Skills: Relevant analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial insights to stakeholders. ** Candidates from BPO/BPS/SOP driven organization will not be acceptable for this role.
