The team

Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.

The opportunity

Conducting financial investigations and writing SARs/STRs

Monitor and proactively adjust to volume fluctuations, and effectively handle volume surges to maintain operational efficiency and compliance

Utilize advanced tools and spreadsheet functions for data analysis

Focus on multiple priorities, including individual production efforts and ad hoc projects

What you bring

2+ years of anti-financial crime related experience with a crypto-background

Understanding of compliance operational functions and processes

Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with financial crimes

Familiarity with Google Suite applications, with emphasis on Google Sheets and Google Doc or similar programs

Familiarity and comfort utilizing AI and technology for automation

Familiarity with specific tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM) and practices used in FIU

Good attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to haves

Financial crime related certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CRCM, CRC)

Database and programming skills such as SQL and Python
