As a Finance Operations Senior Associate you will support financial operations consulting work by analyzing client needs, identifying process improvements, and helping design solutions that streamline operations, strengthen controls, and reduce costs. As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client connections, navigate increasingly complex situations, and develop your technical skills while guiding junior team members and contributing to assigned workstreams within our Finance Consulting practice. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will contribute to financial systems implementation, process automation, and shared services work, while using sound judgment, clear communication, and critical thinking to deliver work that aligns with client needs and broader project goals.

Responsibilities

• - Managing procure-to-pay activities across invoice processing, payment runs, and exception handling
• - Reviewing purchase orders, vendor records, and invoice discrepancies to support accurate transaction processing
• - Monitoring accounts payable workflows and identifying process gaps that affect cycle times and control performance
• - Interpreting financial data to address payment issues, unmatched items, and aging balances
• - Applying accounting practices and financial internal controls to transaction review and issue resolution
• - Using financial systems administration skills to support workflow updates, master data maintenance, and system troubleshooting
• - Analyzing process documentation and operational data to identify opportunities for automation and standardization
• - Supporting client-facing financial operations deliverables by tracking requests, escalating blockers, and maintaining clear follow-up
• - Guiding junior team members through daily tasks, issue resolution, and workpaper preparation
• - Building client relationships by anticipating operational needs and adapting support as priorities shift

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 2 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required
