THE JOB:

As a Food Server at Grand Wok in MGM Grand , you’ll bring the bold flavors and fast-paced energy of this popular Asian dining destination to life. You’ll take and deliver orders with accuracy and efficiency, maintain clean and inviting tables, finalize checks, and ensure every guest enjoys attentive, friendly service. From completing side work to keeping your station organized, your dedication helps create a smooth, satisfying dining experience that keeps guests coming back to Grand Wok.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.5457 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome

Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages

Maintain table cleanliness utilizing a silent service approach

Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment

Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and Point of Sale (POS) stations

Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency

Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required

Must be 21 years of age or older

5+ Years of prior relevant in a high-paced environment with food service experience preferred

Previous experience as a Food Server in a Fine Dining, Luxury, or High Volume restaurant preferred

Previous experience working with restaurants that serve Asian Cuisines preferred

Bilingual in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
