• Job Summary:
• Supports daily miscellaneous metals and welding operations and contributes to achieving project goals. Drives crews in the installation, fabrication, and welding of miscellaneous metal components to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Coordinates allocation of miscellaneous metal welders and communicates effectively with project crews to complete tasks. Contributes to project success by optimizing workflows with defined guidelines, monitoring progress, and upholding high standards of workmanship.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Supervises and supports a crew of miscellaneous metal welders performing fabrication, installation, and repair of steel components.
• Coordinates material deliveries, equipment allocation, and workforce scheduling to maintain efficient field operations.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and quality standards through regular inspections and corrective actions.
• Communicates project plans, expectations, and updates clearly to welders and other supervisors.
• Monitors progress, identifies deviations, and collaborates with project stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Promotes crew skill development through coaching and mentoring under the guidance of senior supervision.
• Accurately completes and submits time cards for assigned crews, ensuring timely and precise recording of labor hours in accordance with company policies and project requirements.

• Education Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

• Work Experience:
• 5 years of experience in welding, metal fabrication, or a related field required.

• Certifications and Licenses:
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
• American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Supervisor certification preferred.

Anticipated starting pay range:
