Foreperson - Carpenter

Essential Responsibilities:

• •Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, concrete finishers / masons and labourers
• •Interface with the client and other contractors on site
• •Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards
• •Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
• •Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient
• •Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
• •Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines
• •Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing

Qualifications:

• •Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred
• •Journeyperson Carpenter
• •Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades
• •Valid driver's license and clean abstract required

Work Conditions:

• •Work schedule: 10 days on, and 4 days off plus statutory holidays off
• •Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
• •Location - Fort Saskatchewan AB
• •Weekly payment of wages

No camp or travel allowances provided. Would suit candidates residing in the Greater Edmonton region
