As a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing managed services processes, tools, and services to enhance client operations. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on transitioning and running services, managing delivery teams, and driving continuous improvement to streamline operations and reduce costs for our clients.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is unclear. This role involves using a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, while upholding professional and technical standards.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage your project management and process optimization skills to deliver impactful services to clients. Your work will involve managing delivery risk and performance, confirming that client engagements are executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• - Managing and optimizing managed services processes to enhance client operations and efficiency
• - Leading delivery teams in transitioning and running services, confirming seamless integration and performance
• - Utilizing project management skills to oversee program delivery and mitigate delivery risks
• - Implementing process improvement strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs
• - Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• - Applying analytical thinking to interpret data and inform strategic recommendations
• - Designing and developing automation frameworks to improve service delivery and operational performance
• - Engaging with stakeholders to align service management strategies with business objectives
• - Monitoring service level agreements to maintain operational excellence and client satisfaction
• - Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and delivery efficiency

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 5 years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required

Substantial SRE experience with real ownership of production reliability on AWS.

Experience running Kubernetes and AWS services at scale.

A track record of defining and managing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

Strong observability practice.

Proven incident leadership and post-mortem facilitation.

Strong automation skills (Python, Go, or Bash).

Hands-on understanding of AI-assisted operations, including introducing AI SRE tooling with sensible guardrails.

AWS certification at Associate level as a minimum.
