Note: We are recruiting on behalf of our valued client. This opportunity is for a position with their organization, not with People Culture Talent. We're excited to help connect talented professionals with this exceptional team!
The Role
We're hiring a Founding Product Manager to fill a gap that's been founder-owned until now at a Series A AI infrastructure company. You'll work alongside the CTO, a founding engineering team, and in close contact with customers to define what gets built and why. The role requires genuine technical fluency, strong customer instincts, and the ability to operate with minimal structure.
What You’ll Own
Product Strategy — Define and drive the roadmap. Make sure engineering investment is pointed at the right problems.
Customer Discovery — Talk to customers directly and often. Surface the patterns that should shape product direction.
Roadmap Prioritization — Balance customer feedback, technical constraints, and business goals. Make the call and document the reasoning.
Cross-Functional Leadership — Connect engineering, leadership, and go-to-market. Keep priorities aligned as the company scales.
Product Development — Guide initiatives from concept to launch. Stay close to the work without micromanaging it.
Market Insight — Track competitive dynamics and industry trends.
Operational Foundation — Stand up the product processes, planning rhythms, and communication structures that don't exist yet.
What You’ll Bring
4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, infrastructure, or enterprise software
Experience working directly with engineering teams to ship technical products
Strong customer discovery instincts — you find signal in conversations, not just data
Technical fluency — you can engage credibly with engineers on architecture and implementation tradeoffs
Excellent written communication; decisions travel in writing on an async-first team
A data-informed approach to prioritization — you can defend your calls
Experience with APIs, integrations, or infrastructure products is a strong plus
About Our Client
This venture backed AI infrastructure company is developing the connectivity layer that enables AI platforms and B2B software to take meaningful action within the systems businesses rely on. The founding team brings experience from Google, Meta, and AWS. The team is small, retention rates are exceptional, and the technical standards are high. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are excited about meaningful ownership and the chance to help shape the future of collaboration between businesses and AI.
